A 26-year-old man has been charged following an alleged assault on Coogee Bay Road, after another man was taken to hospital on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to Coogee Bay Road about 11:00 p.m. on 8 August following reports of an assault.
NSW Police said paramedics treated a 41-year-old man at the scene before he was taken to hospital.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command began investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Man Arrested at Scene
Police arrested a 26-year-old man at the scene and took him to Maroubra Police Station.
He was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and initially refused bail ahead of a court appearance on Sunday.
The man was subsequently granted bail subject to conditions.
The charge remains before the courts and the allegations have not been proven.
