About Lawn Bowls
Lawn Bowls is a precision sport with the primary aim of rolling bowls closest to a smaller white/yellow ball (the ‘jack’ or ‘kitty’). It can be played indoors or outdoors on grass, or even on artificial surfaces called “green”, which is divided into parallel playing strips (“rinks”).
Lawn Bowls can be played in several formats including Jack Attack which is a national social-competitive participation format of the game that is fast-paced compared to the traditional format. It is now available at over 100 clubs around Australia.
