This homegrown success story, which began in 2012 with a single store in Balaclava in Melbourne, is now on track to double its footprint by 2026, bringing its unique blend of flavours and toppings to more Aussies than ever before.

The family-owned business recently opened a new location in Robina on the Gold Coast and announced plans for another in Brisbane’s West End. These moves, along with the planned Coogee outlet, demonstrate Yo-Chi’s commitment to its mission of “Sharing the Chi” with a wider audience and highlight its growing popularity among health-conscious consumers seeking guilt-free indulgence.

Yo-Chi’s success can be attributed to its innovative approach to frozen yogurt. The brand offers a self-serve model that allows customers to create their perfect dessert, choosing from signature flavours like the tangy Signature Tart and rich Chocolate.

The experience is elevated by an extensive array of toppings, ranging from fresh fruits to more decadent options like melted Biscoff and chewy mochi.

Since its inception, Yo-Chi has been at the forefront of Australia’s frozen yogurt trend. The brand’s rapid growth from a Melbourne staple to a national chain reflects not only the quality of its product but also its resonance with Australian consumers who are increasingly seeking healthier alternatives to traditional desserts.
